Because Loki & I once found ourselves on a ski lift with no safety bar in the middle of summer with a hundred-foot drop onto rocks and no four-point harnesses either. And I assure you, I was not smiling and my hands were not in the air, they had a death grip on the bench, and those 20 minutes were so terrifying that Loki & I hiked back down the mountain, rather than ride down on the Ski Lift of Death.
