Hey, check it out, we are alive! Well, I’m alive. Loki’s been drawing buggs for me more or less continually, but a bit of a hiccup starting in October meant I couldn’t dedicate as much time to writing Bugg posts as I had done, and about six weeks ago we ran out of queued posts. Oh, and then I got a job. And then the holidays happened, and then our annual trek to NAMM. But I want to keep sharing Buggs with you, so I’m hoping to get back into a groove. Thanks for bearing with what will undoubtedly be a bumpy relaunch =)
this day in bugg history
go forth, young buggle
Hey, check it out — for once, Mrs Bugg is not playing the part of the ship’s figurehead! I’m guessing she called dibs on the beard.
siege of orleans
OMFG THAT’S RIGHT. Loki accidentally swapped the pictures on this one and the Bugthoven’s 9th cards. Heeeee.
penny bugg
So when were Mr and Mrs Bugg living in different cities? How far apart are Buglandia and Buggtropolis? Did Mr Bugg send her a letter every single day? Did Mrs Bugg pine for him and sabotage all romantic relationships she had whilst separated from him? Did she write really bad poetry and sing sad songs in her car? And drink too much and do sometimes-inappropriate things with her equally-drunk friends? I HAVE QUESTIONS.
Oh, wait, this was about stamps, not long-distance relationships.
THOSE ARE CUTE BUGG STAMPS, GUYS.
it’s in the parliamentary attic
See? It’s a good thing we held onto that. I knew my borderline-hoarder tendency would come in handy sometime.
sailor outfits are the best
I’m sad they’re not wearing those amazingly silly bell-bottomed trousers, but the hats are pretty sweet, so ok.
