Mrs Bugg is just adventurous as fuck, isn’t she? You’d think Mr Bugg would be used to it by now.

That you step inside, to another world*!
* which we may or may not sing as the credits roll whenever we watch Stargate.**
** OK, yeah, we totally do.
that gravity, it’s a killer
Yes, clearly that tiny orange zip-tie on the hilt did nothing to counter the effects of gravity on a sword twice her size.
now I’m thinking of a turkey sandwich
So this past weekend*, I got a belated birthday present from the best friends a Stargate fangirl could ever have: a 3D-printed Stargate that spins and lights up. (I’m pretty sure my squee was only audible to bats.)
ANYWAY. We put it on a shelf, and more or less instantly, the Buggs were doing even more awesome Stargate cosplays than currently, and about the first one they did** was in a puddle jumper. So you can imagine how happy this particular drawing makes me.
* I’m currently about five weeks out on the queue, here, so this would have been about Valentine’s weekend.
** The very first ones they did were Vala and an Ori prior***, because those are the first action figures I bought, upon determining the relative scale of my Stargate and finding some sub-$100 ones. Seriously, I heart Rodney McKay deeply, but I am not paying a hundred American dollars for a doll.
*** Vala because she kicks so much ass, and the prior because he came with a DHD. WIN!
the other guys
Oh, man, Felger and Coombs are two of my favorite minor characters! Those Sharpie’d god symbols slay me.
(Also, the firing blindly behind oneself is my very most favorite McKay move. Well played, Mrs Bugg!)
excellent idea, Buggs!
I think the Buggs overheard our plans. They get to play in zero gravity, though. I’m jealous.
seek out the vendor hall
I’m not sure BuggGate One is an actual team, but we will look for you, Buggs! You never know what you might find.
(For example, we found the perfect accessories for our next Stargate cosplay, a recreation of a literal three-minute scene involving Col. Carter and Dr. Lee on the Midway Station, during an Atlantis episode. Score!)

Well, Loki and I went with our SG-23 outfits — and were rewarded with a Jaffa sighting! But a Bugg Wars theme would have been equally awesome.
