That’s pretty awesome! Although I do think Mrs Bugg should be more generous. Maybe they could just take turns?

I will never not love Mrs Bugg with her pi symbol, nor Darth Vader with a juice box.

using P90s on orcs hardly seems fair

I would not have thought that a world created by Tolkien would have a Stargate address, but there you go. Clearly the Buggs’ supercomputer is superior to that in the SGC.

a little puddle jumper like this?

We can name it later!

Also: nice life-signs detector, Mr Bugg!

(And yes, my friends built me a Milky Way gate, not a Pegasus one, but puddle jumpers are awesome and I would totally fly one, too, if I were the Buggs and the only limitation was my imagination, so hush your mouth.)

I have the best friends ever, you guys.

Seriously. Lego could have ALL MY MONEY if they did something Stargate-related.

(Do not speak to me of Lego Dimensions. Close, but no cigar.)

I like to think they’re learning from their cultural differences.

The most important thing is that you’re comfortable with who you are, and that you have the support of your friends and/or family.

Buggs: Cosplay all you like. I love you.

Oh, yes, Buggs, that is totally what that was about.

I’m digging on Mr Bugg’s jester getup, though!

Look, if you’re going to hire mercenaries, go for the best.

(In eerily related news, I just last night [several weeks ago, by the time you see this] received in the mail a Black Ops Teal’c to go with the Stargate I got for my birthday. I’m sure Mrs Bugg has already stolen his staff weapon.)

** OK, yeah, we totally do.

Ahh, yes, once more, I have scanned drawings out of order. Go me!

On the plus side: mixed Star Wars / Stargate cosplay, the Sharpie’d god symbol on Mrs Bugg’s forehead, and the juice boxes. LOVE.

Oh, Buggs. We feel your pain. Our Comicon was pretty painful, too. Awesome … but painful.

firing blind

Any scene where they handed Rodney McKay a gun & let him run away while firing blindly behind him was a good scene, in my opinion — and I see the Buggs agree!

So this past weekend*, I got a belated birthday present from the best friends a Stargate fangirl could ever have: a 3D-printed Stargate that spins and lights up. (I’m pretty sure my squee was only audible to bats.)

ANYWAY. We put it on a shelf, and more or less instantly, the Buggs were doing even more awesome Stargate cosplays than currently, and about the first one they did** was in a puddle jumper. So you can imagine how happy this particular drawing makes me.

* I’m currently about five weeks out on the queue, here, so this would have been about Valentine’s weekend.
** The very first ones they did were Vala and an Ori prior***, because those are the first action figures I bought, upon determining the relative scale of my Stargate and finding some sub-$100 ones. Seriously, I heart Rodney McKay deeply, but I am not paying a hundred American dollars for a doll.
*** Vala because she kicks so much ass, and the prior because he came with a DHD. WIN!

Oh, man, Felger and Coombs are two of my favorite minor characters! Those Sharpie’d god symbols slay me.

(Also, the firing blindly behind oneself is my very most favorite McKay move. Well played, Mrs Bugg!)

excellent idea, Buggs!

I think the Buggs overheard our plans. They get to play in zero gravity, though. I’m jealous.

I’m not sure BuggGate One is an actual team, but we will look for you, Buggs! You never know what you might find.

(For example, we found the perfect accessories for our next Stargate cosplay, a recreation of a literal three-minute scene involving Col. Carter and Dr. Lee on the Midway Station, during an Atlantis episode. Score!)

Dude, for serious. We were in full SG-23 kit, and he was sitting right there signing things. We didn’t have the cash for an autograph, but the women helping him out were stoked to see our outfits. Too bad the Buggs were too small to be seen.
