So The Buggs have started to attract the spam-commenters. It’s not like there are any legit comments here — well, not many =) — so I’ve turned on the option to disallow any comment with a link, prior to taking any more drastic measures re: comments.

So I’m now nearly ten months behind on these posts, which is overwhelming and sort of ridiculous.

I’ve made the executive decision to cut way back on my commentary — specifically, cutting out the transcripts — in an effort to get closer to real-time posting of my drawings.

If you can’t read something, or want clarification, by all means, leave a comment and I’ll clarify! But honestly, I think the most important thing is to get the drawings scanned and posted, and that’s a process that will go much more quickly now.

Thanks to life being hectic and crazed and insane and, just lately, devastating and heartbreaking, I’m two months behind on posting my Bugg drawings.

I’m going to try to start catching up today, but there will be a small change. Probably no one would have noticed, but in an effort to get back to a regular posting schedule, I’m going to post drawings using the current date, not the date on the note.

This will allow me to get several posts ahead, and schedule them to post automatically, rather than having to log into the site and hit publish. This means your feed reader / Twitter feed / whatever will have fewer multi-post clogs, which will hopefully be nice for you.

Anyway. Sorry for the delay, and thanks for bearing with me.

So I’ve got a ton of old drawings to scan in, but I’m having issues locating a huge number of the earlier original drawings (they do exist on the old Tumblr, but they’re crap phone-cam pics I can’t really use here).

I kept putting off scanning and posting the ones I do have, because I didn’t want to scan them out of order, because I really wanted to post them in the order I got them, because I am a little OCD about shit like that (ok, kind of a lot OCD), but then I decided that I can be stronger than my silly issues and besides, it’s not like there are a million readers here who will get pissed — or even care — if things appear out of order.

Anyway. I’m going to keep posting the most recent ones (March 2013) and just add the older ones as I can. I’m thinking I’ll date them from 2011, which is consistent with reality, and just try not to get bunged up about original posting dates or order. You’re cool with that, right?
