up, up and away

hot air bugloon

The buggs seem to get up to all sorts of aerial shenanigans, don’t they? I sense a theme.

Mrs Bugg and another female friend watch in horror, hands over their mouths or raised in alarm, as Mr Bugg and a friend float away in the basket of a large hot-air bugloon, seemingly unconcerned — a laissez-faire that would be borne out by the success of their flight.

The text reads: “Junbebugg 4, 1783: The Montbuggfier brothers publicly demonstrate their hot air Bugloon.”
