June is apparently a good month for the communications industry.

There is just no end to the ways Mr Bugg will use technology to say sweet things to Mrs Bugg in the name of historical cosplay, huh? Mr Bugg stands above a telegraph transmitter, sending (evidenced by the “tap tap tap” floating up from the mechanism) what are undoubtedly words of love, to judge by the hearts pouring from the machine on Mrs Bugg’s end. Between them stretches the telegraph line.

The text reads: “Junebugg 20, 1840: Buguel Morse receives a patent for the Bugglegraph.”
